Another 10 days goes by with nothing. We called on july 8th and come to find out they dropped the boat back in the water and took it back to our dock not repaired. They left our cover loose and the radio and other things were damaged in heavy rain. THEY NEVER CALLED US AND TOLD US OUR BOAT WAS SIMPLY DISMISSED AND RETURNED to our dock with the keys in it!
I wonder how a person of such low customer service skills can be in business?? We are not a demanding customer nor one with unrealistic timelines. I will never ever do business with this company again. The owner is by far the rudest person ive ever done business with. I do not recommend them for any type of boating service.
Broken promises, lack of keeping their word, not caring for our property properly, and zero communication with no resolution represents a no class business.

I am so digusted at the level of service of this business. We took our tritoon boat there to solve some tuning issues on the outboard motor. After many "promises" on time frame and a two week delay, they finally pulled the boat to.look at....apparently. After a third week of no.news we phoned them only to reach the OWNER, who.immediately became defensive when questioned on timeframe. We put no restrictions or time constraints on them, only wanted an update. The absolutely became mean. I mean very unprofessional and stated to just come and get the boat. By the end of the conversation she stated that they would look at the boat, but it would not be by july 4th (which was no big deal) and that she herself would call.
Had my Chris Craft shrink wrapped, best deal and they used great materials. Heavy gauge plastic that has held up great.

Bought a used lift from them in 2012 and was told it had all new cables. The cables broke the second time we put the boat on the lift, they told us to leave boat off the lift and they would fix it the next few days. After they told us it as fixed We attempted to put boat on lift but it was still broken. Before they tried to fix it again the lift was blown over in a storm because the boat was not on it. We asked them to pull it and fix it, since it was the end of the season we assumed we would hear back from them and tried calling several times with no response. The following spring we finally got in touch with someone and was told that WE told them to scrap the lift, of course we didn't, we paid 2k for our boat to be on a lift for less than one week. Would never do business with this company again and will continue to warn others. Of course under this review they will say anything to make it appear we were in the wrong and that should be your first sign as to what type of customer service this company will give you.
I have nothing but high praise for the Rochester Boat Company, absolutely GREAT staff and GREAT service. We took our boat in to have it worked on and it was a quick and easy process and highly affordable compared to other marinas that we got quotes from. Our boat was taken in around the end of June and they absolutely stuck to what they said, we had our boat back in no time! Terri who we talked with on the phone was very kind and we had absolutely no problems with her. We were actually able to go to the Boat Company throughout the process of our boat being fixed, the guys that worked on our were very educated and were able to diagnose our problem almost immediately and knew exactly what to do to get it fixed! We also dealt with the owners Shane and Lisa who were more than professional the entire time and made our decision to use Rochester Boat Company easy! In the future we will ONLY use Rochester Boat Company to do anything we need such as storing our boats, lifts and pier! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
Called The Boat Company about a solar lift system and pier extension. They had it done in a week. I also purchased a chair for the pier and my wife loves it. The Boat Company is the only people I trust with my watercraft!! Great service and great quality!!!!
I will say their secretary staff was very sweet and kind and completely apologized for our treatment.
