Count 7 employees here at 6am, opened at 5 and still not taking orders. This place is bizarre. Would gladly go to Bk for breakfast, but they don't care when they get open either. Sure hope pilot provides a breakfast option.
Other than that, the service was fast and that says a lot when I came with a large group of maybe 30 people, give or take.
They had to make one of the employees leave for cussing, but that was as soon as I arrived so I did not see it. What I did see was another employee grow angry at the proceedings and took her time to clock out while yelling at everyone about her displeasure in one of the most immature manners I have ever witnessed. The manager was admirable throughout the entire experience, I must say.
If I could give no stars I would. Friend and I went in and waited FOREVER in line to place an order. One poor girl on cash register made a mistake and needed a manager to clear it before she could go on. The manager came over finally and VERY RUDELY pushed the poor girl away and said I have to enter my code and told the girl to look away after pushing her aside. I could not believe how badly she treated her help. Then my order was wrong when we got to the car to leave. I did not want to fight the line again so I left it as was. Also the ice machine was empty, one of the soda fountains for root beer was empty and the one coke fountain ran out when i was in process of filling my cup. It was a freaking nightmare. Will never go back there. This store gives McDonalds a really bad name.
8:00 pm. On a Friday night. Only 3 cars total in line. 2 are waiting on there orders. We finally order. Please pull forward to number 2 spot. That was 10 mins ago. 4 people in the car 3 straws. Hows the 2 drive through working out. Not worth a damn. Been going on all summer. Won't be back for a long time. I would rather go to Wendy's. Foods hot. Never waited or pull forward. Good bye. I'll be back when you get your food line better.
I have been here several times, and my experience is usually never positive, but this morning's experience has compelled me to write a review. I pulled into the drive thru at 6:15am to be greeted with an announcement that the cashier could not accept CASH, only cards this morning. A very puzzling announcement, but I had a card, so I proceeded with the order. I get to the window and pay, and pull forward to the window to get my food. The employee at the window said they hadn't been busy and needed to prepare fresh hash browns and asked me to pull up as they would be done in 3.5 minutes. So I pulled up to wait. And wait. And wait. And wait some more. After 15 minutes I got tired of waiting, so I pulled up to a parking spot to go into the restaurant to see if my order was forgotten. As I got out of my vehicle, a woman came out with the food, apologizing for the delay. She indicated that they put in an additional hash brown and an apple pie in my order for my trouble. The first hash brown was warm, but not hot, and was WAY overcooked to the point that it was hard. The 2nd was exactly the same. So after nearly 20 minutes of waiting for a hash brown I get not one but two overcooked potato bricks? Like most others, if I could give zero stars, I would.
Can't seem to get open on time in the mornings. Even managers not showing up.
This particular McDonald's ALWAYS seems to have issues. It has sister sites in Nappanee and Syracuse that have the same issues. A Harry Smith I believe owns all of these McDonald's and I am convinced that because all these have the same problems, that this owner may have something to do with the issues. Don't waste your time eating at this restaurant. Go to the McDonald's in Argos. Much better service and the food is always spot on.
